This is a still life of an apple, banana and orange done in pencil crayon. If you talk to me about fruit, these are the first ones I picture in my mind.
This is a stipple drawing of Canadian Director, Guy Maddin. The reason I chose Guy Maddin is that last year I was volunteering for the Canadian Film Institute and I had the opportunity to meet him and watch his feature films. This helped open up my eyes to older films which has helped influence my artistic ideas.
This art piece was done using scratchboard. I wanted to represent two animals that I have a personal connection to. The tiger represents the year I was born, in the Chinese zodiac. The butterfly represents the theory that small things can make a big impact. This is something I have witnessed throughout my life.
This is a space nebula done with pastels. This is one of my most expressive pieces because of how abstract nebulas can be.
